About me

I came to doing this work after having meaningful, transformative, and healing experiences as a therapy client. I trained at Southern California Counseling Center and finished my MS in marriage and family therapy from California State University, Northridge, in 2024. In session, I draw from person-centered (Rogerian) therapy, attachment theory, trauma-informed modalities, parts work, gestalt therapy, insight-oriented therapy, and accelerated experiential dynamic psychotherapy. In relational therapy, I draw from emotionally focused therapy, PACT (psychobiological approach to couples therapy), the Gottman Method, and structural family therapy. Outside of session, I enjoy dogs, colorful paintings, and sci-fi novels about postscarcity societies.

My worldview

As I see it, white-supremacist post-industrial capitalism pressures us to detach from our bodies and treat ourselves like faulty machines that need to be controlled through force, instead of living beings to be nurtured and supported. In therapy, we can develop a more sustainable, enlivening, values-driven way of relating to ourselves and our communities.
